Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 November 2026

These terms govern your use of the REZOLQ mobile app ("the App") and this website, provided by Pascal Daniel Mence, Oslo, Norway ("we"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The App lets your phone take part in a synchronised light display at events that use a REZOLQ installation. The App is free. It has no accounts, no in-app purchases and no advertising.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, this licence is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA); where the two conflict on matters concerning Apple, Apple's terms apply.

3. Safe use at events

4. Acceptable use

You must not reverse-engineer, modify or interfere with the App, the beacons or the show controller, spoof beacon signals, or use the App in any unlawful way.

5. Availability

Effects only work at events equipped with REZOLQ. Results depend on your phone, Bluetooth conditions and the crowd; we do not guarantee that every phone will be positioned or will display every effect.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the REZOLQ name and logo, and all show content remain the property of Pascal Daniel Mence or his licensors. Partner logos shown during effects belong to their respective owners.

7. Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, battery drain, or damage to your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Privacy

How the App handles data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant changes will be announced in the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes go to the courts of Oslo, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
