Other crowd-light apps ask each person to tap the block they are sitting in. Get it wrong and the picture breaks. REZOLQ places professional Bluetooth beacons around the venue; the beacons measure their own distances with ultra-wideband, and every phone locates itself against them. The result is a precise map of the crowd — and pictures that actually look like pictures.

A REZOLQ installation is deliberately light: a handful of waterproof beacons on stands around the pit, measured against each other automatically. No cameras pointed at the audience, no grid of hardware to maintain. Effects are designed alongside your stage visuals, so LED walls, totems and the crowd move as one picture.

Uses

Bluetooth — to detect the venue's beacons and estimate where your phone is in the crowd. Processed on your phone.
Screen & brightness — to show colours during an effect.
Internet (during a show) — to receive the effect cues from the show controller.

Never

No account, no e-mail, no phone number, no name.
No camera, no microphone, no contacts, no GPS tracking.
No advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, no selling of data.

Questions people ask

Do I need to create an account?

No. Download the app and you are ready. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete afterwards.

Which phones work?

Any iPhone or Android phone with Bluetooth. Exact minimum OS versions are listed on each store page.

Why does it ask for Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is how your phone hears the beacons around the venue and works out its position. It is not used for anything else, and the signal never leaves your phone.

Does it drain my battery?

Only while an effect is running — typically a few minutes per show. You can close the app the rest of the time.

I'm an organiser. What do I need?

A REZOLQ beacon kit (up to six beacons) and a show controller. Contact us and we will walk through your venue together.
